The agreement on a complete cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh is being observed, Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said on Tuesday.

“Fortunately, I will say that there is a peace agreement in place right now between Azerbaijan and Armenia that appears to be holding at the current point,” Hoffman noted.

On November 9, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement on the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
