Yerevan will recognize that it is likely to lose more if it doesn’t talk than if it does, Former US State Department official, political scientist Paul Goble told Report.

According to him, Armenia will not be close to peace talks in the near future: “It seems to me that we are in for a period of real conflict, possibly violent, with all sides testing what is possible. Armenia can’t win on its own, although Azerbaijan could do so. That is the reality Yerevan and its supports must face.”
