The signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will not only benefit the two nations but also bring advantages to other countries in the region, according to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Speaking to the media following his meeting with Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi, Pashinyan expressed confidence that “not only Armenia and Azerbaijan are the beneficiaries of peace, but Georgia, Türkiye, and Iran will equally benefit from it.”
The prime minister believes that there is a genuine historic opportunity in the South Caucasus to close the chapter of conflict and establish lasting peace in the region.
Pashinyan revealed that Armenia and Azerbaijan have managed to agree on approximately 80% of the peace treaty.
