The State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs in Azerbaijan has reported that 58 men fell victim to gender-based violence in the year 2024.

Report informs, citing the committee, that the hotline dedicated to gender violence received a total of 330 complaints throughout the year, with 272 calls from women and a surprising 58 from men. The geographic distribution of the callers revealed that 205 individuals reached out from the capital city of Baku, while 125 calls originated from various regions across the nation.
