
More than 250 hotels will be closed in Istanbul following inspections conducted by regulatory authorities after the tragedy at the Kartalkaya ski resort, according to the T24 portal, Report informs via TASS.
According to the Istanbul governor’s office, inspections were carried out in 12 prefectures.
Lack of operating licenses and violations, including fire safety violations, were found in 253 hotels, 64 of them are located in the Beyoglu district, popular among foreigners, in the European part of Istanbul.
