French planemaker Airbus has increased supplies of commercial planes by 8% to 611 in 2021, CEO Guillaume Faury said, Report informs citing foreign media.
Faury said that 7,082 orders for planes had been received by the end of 2021.
According to him, Airbus believes in a steady increase in air transport once the coronavirus pandemic is over and has received a large number of orders from around the world.
“Despite the ongoing uncertainty, we intend to pursue a plan to increase production by 2022 to meet the needs of our customers. At the same time, we are preparing for the future of aviation, changing our industrial potential and implementing a roadmap for decarbonization,” Faury said.
