As the Victory Day and State Flag Day are non-working days in Azerbaijan on November 8-9, the operating schedule of the Baku Metro will be modified, Hidayat Mammadov, Deputy Chief of Baku Metro CJSC, said regarding the operation of metro during the holidays and COP29, Report informs.

Mammadov stated that although November 10 is Sunday, the train schedule will be maintained as on holidays: “During these three days, on the Red Line from Hazi Aslanov to 28 May station, trains will run every 2.5 minutes from 07:00 to 21:00. At 28 May station, where Green and Red lines intersect, the train interval towards Icharishahar and Darnagul directions will be doubled. Due to possible frequent changes in passenger flow directions related to holiday events and mass cultural programs, the management and staff of Baku Metro CJSC will be engaged according to duty schedules. The infrastructure of stations and technical engineering facilities will be monitored. Reserve trains will be kept ready to be deployed on lines when necessary.”
