More than 3 million tickets will be available for sale at the 2020 European Football Championship.

Report informs that UEFA Communications Director David Farrell said the decision was made in connection with the capacity of the 12 stadiums reserved for Euro 2020: “Over 11,000 fans can watch games at 11 stadiums.”

Farrell announced that the tickets will be sold in two stages. According to him, the first stage will cover the period from June 12 to the end of the qualifying round of Euro 2020.

Notably, three matches of the group stage and one match at 1/4 stage will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium. The matches in the arena accommodating 68,700 fans will be held on June 13, June 17, June 21 and July 4, respectively.
