Number of passengers transported by ASCO ferries increased by 20% last year

In 2024, ferries of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) transported 28,392 passengers, marking a 20% increase compared to 2023, when 23,729 passengers were transported, Report informs, citing the company.

Last year, 9,746 passengers traveled on the Kuryk-Alat route, 1,220 on the Turkmenbashi-Alat route, 14,834 on the Alat-Kuryk route, and 2,552 on the Alat-Turkmenbashi route.

In 2023, 8,361 passengers used the Kuryk-Alat route, 485 the Turkmenbashi-Alat route, 13,191 the Alat-Kuryk route, 1,393 the Alat-Turkmenbashi route, 144 the Aktau-Alat route, and 155 the Alat-Aktau route.
