There is no shortage of health workers in Azerbaijan, said Firangiz Aliyeva, head of the Medical Services Department at the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB).
She made the remarks Friday during a virtual press conference on the results of the WHO mission in Azerbaijan.
The department head noted that the doctors, who arrived in Azerbaijan from several countries, are currently conducting an exchange of experience on the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We always need to be prepared against the pandemic. If necessary, we will try to attract more foreign medical workers in the fight against the coronavirus infection,” Aliyeva added.
