In 2024, the Netherlands imported 1.9 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia, marking an increase of 68% compared to 2023, according to the Statistics Netherlands, Report informs via TASS.

In contrast, the Netherlands’ LNG supplies from the US and Norway for the reporting period dropped slightly.

Overall, the country imported a total of about 21 billion cubic meters of LNG in 2024.
