An outbreak of coronavirus was recorded among the staff of the Regional University Hospital of Malaga (Autonomous Community of Andalusia).

Report informs, citing TASS that to date, COVID-19 has already been identified in 68 employees of the medical institution.

It is noted that those infected are vaccinated against coronavirus, and, in most cases, the disease is asymptomatic or mild.

The outbreak is believed to have occurred in the afternoon on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas, which took place less than a week ago in a Malaga restaurant. The festive event was attended by about 170 people. In the run-up to lunch, they tested for COVID-19, and all guests tested negative.
