While the Armenian church, located in the center of Baku, is protected by the state, the historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in Yerevan has been completely destroyed or appropriated, they are falsifying the origin of the samples of the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli said at the conference “Heydar Aliyev: Multiculturalism and tolerance as a concept for the development of Azerbaijani society”.
According to him, the preservation of the cultural heritage of ethnic groups, religious beliefs and monuments of people of different religions in Azerbaijan is the basis of the policy of multiculturalism and tolerance of the state: “Azerbaijan, recognized in the world as a model of tolerance, contributes to the development of dialogue between civilizations.”
