Haji Aliyev has always been a role model for his teammates by his determination, discipline and diligence, President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Mikayil Jabbarov said.
“Haji Aliyev, two-time Olympic medalist, three-time World champion, four-time European champion, and winner of the European Games and the Islamic Solidarity Games, has concluded his illustrious career. He has always been a role model for his teammates by his determination, discipline and diligence,” Jabbarov said in a post on X.
He added that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation extends its deepest gratitude to Haji Aliyev for his significant contributions to Azerbaijani wrestling, the remarkable success he has achieved and for inspiring adolescent and young wrestlers.
