Journalist Hamid Hamidov presents a new video interview in the latest episode of the “Let’s Talk?” program. The guest of the podcast is the renowned Ukrainian pediatrician, candidate of medical sciences, writer, and TV host Yevgeny Komarovsky, better known as Dr. Komarovsky.

During the conversation, the participants discussed various pressing issues related to child upbringing and health, including the reasons behind men’s passive involvement in their children’s lives, whether it is necessary to force children to eat, the importance of vaccination, the increasing number of children diagnosed with ADHD.

Dr. Komarovsky shared his insights on the fundamental principles of harmonious relationships between children and parents. He also clarified whether we are on the brink of a catastrophe in these relationships.

The interview also touched upon other topics, such as the reasons for the spread of quackery in the medical field and which country currently has the best healthcare system.

A significant portion of the discussion was dedicated to the topic of war and children. Dr. Komarovsky described the current situation in Ukraine and how one can help Ukrainian children during these challenging times.

In conclusion, the pediatrician emphasized his fondness for Baku and named his favorite Azerbaijani dish.

A training session involving a group of Azerbaijani reservists called from the reserve within the framework of joint actions with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription is being held under the training plan for 2025, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

In accordance with the plan, socio-political training classes were conducted to enhance the discipline and improve the moral and psychological state of reservists.

The training classes continue with the education of medical personnel and the execution of practical exercises aimed at ensuring the accurate and timely provision of first aid.

Citizens of CIS countries, including Azerbaijan, are being fraudulently recruited to work at a secret factory illegally producing Iranian drones in Tatarstan (Russia), Report informs via Baku TV.

According to the information, advertisements about the Alabuga Start program are being actively distributed online, which provides employment for citizens of CIS countries, but not Russia, in the special economic zone of high-tech production in the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia).

“A bright, attractive website, promises career growth and interesting work. Everything seems fine, but people, hoping for promising earnings, get jobs there, move to this zone, and end up being involved in something different from what was advertised,” the report states.

Following its own investigation, Baku TV found that young CIS citizens under 22 years old are being fraudulently recruited to produce Iranian Shahed-136 attack drones. Those who refuse to do such work are subjected to pressure and blackmail, and their documents are confiscated.

“According to our data, citizens of Azerbaijan under 22 years of age are currently being held there,” Baku TV notes.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and other high-ranking officers of the Ministry visited the Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of January 20 – National Mourning day.

The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads has disclosed information about road infrastructure projects being implemented in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions, Report informs via the agency.

The work is currently ongoing on the design and construction of 45 automobile roads with a total length of 3,382.6 km to restore road infrastructure in the liberated territories, as part of the “First State Program for the Great Return to the liberated territories” and based on orders from President Ilham Aliyev.

To date, construction has been fully completed on 7 automobile roads with a total length of 315.9 km, and 1 project has been partially completed (24.2 km out of 39.7 km of the Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut road).

Construction completion for 16 projects is planned for 2025-2026. Additionally, work is being carried out on the construction of internal roads in 8 cities, roads leading to 8 villages, and 6 inter-district automobile roads.

The total length of tunnels (45 tunnels) being built on automobile roads in the liberated territories is 70.8 km, 447 bridges – 9,581.6 m, and 16 viaducts – 3,871 m.

Currently, construction has been completed on 28 tunnels (59.6 km), 392 bridges (8,339.1 m), and 9 viaducts (1,695 m).

In alignment with the military cooperation agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, a national flag change ceremony was conducted in preparation for the joint “Winter Exercise 2025” which is scheduled to take place in Kars, Türkiye, Report informs via Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.

The flag platoon, having received the flag from the Combined Arms Army Command, commenced its march from the city of Nakhchivan to the Sadarak border checkpoint, specifically the Umid Bridge over the Araz River. The statements of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, made during interviews with local TV channels, were extensively covered in a program featuring experts on Turkish TV channel Haber Global, Report informs.

A furious elephant sent locals scrambling for safety during a festival in India, causing chaos and leaving at least 17 people injured, one of them critically, Report informs via NDTV.

The incident occurred during an annual festival at a mosque in the Malappuram district of Kerala. Video footage from the scene shows at least five elephants present in the square. Suddenly, one of the elephants charged into the crowd, grabbing a man with its trunk and violently swinging him from side to side.

The injured man was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Most of the injuries sustained by others were a result of the stampede triggered by the elephant’s aggressive behavior.

The FBI has released video footage of New Orleans attacker Shamsud-Din Jabbar apparently planning his deadly New Year’s Day attack. The perpetrator visited the city months prior to the atrocity, filming the streets with Meta smart glasses, according to the agency.

The nearly four-minute-long video, which has no sound, is a compilation of clips related to the January 1 attack on Bourbon Street in the city’s French Quarter. The footage comes from surveillance cameras in the area and from scenes Jabbar recorded on his Meta glasses. The FBI said he’d visited the city twice, in October and November, before staging the attack.

The first clip, dated October 31, shows Jabbar recording video from his Meta glasses while riding a bicycle through the French Quarter. In the second clip, also from October, Jabbar tests his Meta glasses by recording himself looking into a mirror at the home he rented.

The third clip, from the early hours of January 1, captures Jabbar leaving the first improvised explosive device (IED) inside a blue cooler at Bourbon Street and St Peter Street. The cooler was later moved a block away to Orleans Street by an unsuspecting bystander.

The fourth clip shows Jabbar placing a second IED in a “bucket-style” cooler at Bourbon and Toulouse Streets. In the fifth clip, surveillance footage shows Jabbar walking toward his truck to retrieve a second cooler; his brown long coat, which was later found in the truck at the scene, links him to the attack.

According to the investigators, the devices failed to detonate due to Jabbar’s inexperience with explosives.

On January 1 at approximately 3:15 am local time, Jabbar drove a rented pickup truck onto Bourbon Street, intentionally plowing into a crowd of New Year’s revelers. The attack resulted in 14 deaths and numerous injuries. After crashing the vehicle, Jabbar exited and engaged in a firefight with police officers before being fatally shot.

A US citizen from Texas, he had a history of erratic behavior and had pledged allegiance to Islamic State in videos posted online shortly before the attack. Despite his claims, the FBI has found no evidence of direct contact between Jabbar and the terrorist group, suggesting he acted alone. (RT)

Ten trucks with 200 tons of food supplies sent from Azerbaijan have arrived in Syria, Report informs via the Turkish TV channel Haber Global.

Azerbaijan is determined to utilize its diplomatic capacity in uncovering the causes of the plane crash, Suheyla Demir, head of the foreign policy department of Haber Global TV, said during discussions about the AZAL airplane crash, Report informs.

Demir also spoke about the phone conversations between Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Kazakhstan’s diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan regarding the crash.

Had the pilot known that landing at nearby ports was impossible, he would have returned to Baku. Russia must transparently reveal the individuals responsible for this situation. Under Ilham Aliyev’s leadership, Azerbaijan has been advocating for the rights of its citizens in an open, transparent, and international manner since the accident.”

Karauz also noted that Russia’s apology to Azerbaijan for the incident is a testament to the unified state, people, and leadership, flourishing under Ilham Aliyev’s guidance.

Former Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, another participant in the discussion, mentioned that Azerbaijani officials promptly arrived at the crash site and confirmed that the accident was not caused by a flock of birds:

“With Azerbaijan’s determination, Russia issued a statement. Russian President Vladimir Putin values Azerbaijan greatly. This was evident during the 44-day Patriotic War. There are no issues between the two nations. The authorities at Grozny airport are at fault here.”

The former ambassador added that if Azerbaijan’s conditions are met moving forward, both the Azerbaijani people and the families of the deceased will find greater moral comfort.
