Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Moscow on Tuesday, January 21, to discuss the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report informs, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“The ministers will focus on the situation in the South Caucasus, aiming at achieving balanced normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” the statement says.

The two ministers will also conduct a thorough exchange of views on the entire complex of Russian-Armenian relations, cooperation within the EAEU and other integration associations in the Eurasian space, and on current issues of the global agenda.

“We expect that the upcoming meeting will be constructive, help advance practical cooperation issues, and contribute to strengthening security and stability in the South Caucasus,” the Russian Foreign Ministry notes.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will pay a working visit to Russia on January 21, Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry, wrote on X, Report informs.
