Latvia intends to continue to develop cultural cooperation between members of the European Union National Institutes for Culture and Azerbaijan, Vija Busa, adviser to the Latvian embassy in Azerbaijan, told journalists, Report informs.

“We are pleased that during our chairmanship, more new members and associate members have appeared in the cluster – the embassies of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine has become a partner. This means that we will be able to hold more events to promote our culture, build cultural bridges between our countries and Azerbaijan,” Busa noted.

In her opinion, expanding the cluster and granting partner status to Ukraine is a symbolic event for the Latvian Embassy, given the second anniversary of the start of the Russian war in Ukraine.
