A total of 21 employees of the Kyrgyzstan State Customs Service (SCS) have been fired, Report informs via Kyrgyz media.

The service conducted an internal investigation in order to implement the president’s instructions on combating corruption.

“Facts of gross disciplinary and corruption violations by officials have been revealed. Twenty-one employees, including inspectors and managers, were dismissed for loss of trust. Strict disciplinary sanctions were applied to 13 employees. The materials of the internal investigation were transferred to the relevant authorities,” the State Customs Service said.
