Kremlin slams West’s transfer of Russian assets to Ukraine as “theft”

The transfer of income from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine by Western countries is a violation of international law, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing.

According to Report, which cites Russian media, Peskov said this “theft” will not go unanswered.

“They steal and spend on purchasing weapons. It’s hard to imagine anything worse. We will work out the possibility of legal prosecution of all those involved. Violation of international law, trampling on property rights, and so on,” he noted.
