The Karabakh issue is an internal affair of Azerbaijan, the Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said on Wednesday.

“Azerbaijan operates on its territory, which is recognized by the Armenian leadership,” he said.

Peskov also said that there is no reason to talk about the so-called “ethnic cleansing” in Karabakh.
