“We have been to the Aghdam district. The city was razed to the ground, and this was done purposefully. There are only minefields around. Of course, in terms of international law, this is the wildest war crime of the Armenian command. The only building that survived is a mosque. It survived because for the Armenians it was a military object. This again contradicts all existing norms that determine the rules of warfare,” military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko told Report’s Russian bureau, commenting on his visit to the Aghdam district as part of the Russian delegation.
