Attempts to equate LGBT propaganda with European integration are causing concern, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
“Regarding the anti-LGBT law, when specific people, politicians, and bureaucrats equate LGBT propaganda with European integration, this is, of course, extremely concerning. I would like to remind you what the law provides for. This law stipulates that same-sex partnerships cannot be legalized, meaning they cannot be given legal form. All this implies that in Georgia, one cannot change gender through surgical intervention. No one can force you to use even neutral terminology, for example, regarding gender. The law cannot provide any definition other than two sexes,” Kobakhidze stated.
