The world’s most advanced methods are used with high professionalism in the laboratories of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute (AFSI), Thomas Kickinger, Managing Director of the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), said during a visit to the laboratories of the Institute of Food Safety, Report informs.

According to him, the examinations are carried out with high professionalism in the laboratories established at the AFSI:

“I represent the AGES, and I can say that this laboratory uses the most advanced methods. We also operate in Austria using the same techniques and equipment. This is a great opportunity and, of course, makes a great impression.”

Kickinger stressed that the activities of such laboratories are of great importance in ensuring food security in the country:

“I hope that we can work closely together in the future, given that our work is the same. Therefore, we intend to expand opportunities for cooperation in the development of laboratories and exchange experiences.”
