Every citizen in Georgia has the right to express their opinion peacefully, but no one will be allowed to incite a revolution in the country, Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream party, told journalists, Report informs.
Kaladze emphasized that while peaceful expression is welcome, any attempt to incite violence or a coup will not be tolerated.
He highlighted that the Georgian Dream party won the parliamentary elections held on October 26, 2024, and urged the opposition to accept their defeat.
“There is statehood, and there will be no revolution. Elections are the means through which the government changes. You were defeated in the elections. The Georgian people defeated you. 1.2 million people supported peace and said no to fascism,” Kaladze stated.
