The 17th meeting of the Council of Justice Ministers of the CIS member states has kicked off in Dushanbe, Report informs referring to Tajik media.

Minister of Justice of Tajikistan Muzaffar Ashurien chairs the Council.

Representatives of relevant authorities from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are taking part in the event.

During the meeting, issues of legal regulation of certain areas of activity of the ministries of the CIS countries will be discussed.

In addition, the participants plan to consider the possibility of free legal assistance to citizens of the CIS, as well as approaches to optimizing the regulatory legal acts of the CIS countries.
