Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke at a special session of the 2nd European Conference on Azerbaijan Studies, which took place on December 1 in Skopje.
Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry, that the minister drew attention to Azerbaijan’s foreign policy priorities in the post-conflict period, the prospects for relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and also noted Azerbaijan’s position on the regional situation.
Bayramov spoke about the factors that contributed to the anti-terrorist measures carried out on September 19, 2023, and mentioned the obstacles created by Armenia against the peace process.
The minister also informed about the restoration and reconstruction work carried out by Azerbaijan in the region and emphasized the threat of mines planted by Armenia.
Then Bayramov answered numerous questions from the event participants.
The conference, organized by the Center for Analysis of International Relations with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was attended by representatives of more than 30 European research centers, as well as influential experts.
