Residents of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan are being urged to take shelter in fortified buildings or underground due to North Korea’s ballistic missile launch, Report informs via TASS.

The relevant warning was issued through the Japanese J-Alert emergency warning system.

The Japan Coast Guard previously noted that it had received notification from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea of plans to launch the satellite between May 27 and June 4.
