“Azerbaijan is a country where all nations, including the Jews, live peacefully and without problems,” George Deek, Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan said at the event dedicated to the Holocaust Remembrance Day.

“Unfortunately, although the Jews were expelled from their country 75 years ago, the hatred to them is still more cruel and acute than before,” the ambassador noted.

According to him, a rabbi can walk freely here without any worries. Even walking along the streets of Baku, they feel safer than in the most famous capitals of Europe, he added.
