Ten family members of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Tuesday morning.

According to Report, which cites the EFE news agency, at least 13 people lost their lives when an Israeli helicopter targeted Haniyeh’s home in northern Gaza City. Among the deceased were ten of Haniyeh’s relatives, including his sister.

This is not the first time the Israeli military has targeted Haniyeh’s family. On April 10, three of his sons and several grandchildren were killed while en route to his residence.
