Iranian Deputy Defense Minister General Mahdi Farahi confirmed the purchase of Russian Mi-28 helicopters, Su-35 fighters and Yak-130 trainers, Report informs referring to TASS.

“I can confirm the delivery of Yak-130 trainers, Su-35 fighters and Mi-28 helicopters. The process is ongoing,” he told Tasnim news agency, but did not disclose the sum of the deal and the number of aircraft.

The agency said the aircraft were already in Iran and accepted into service. The Iranian Air Force received the first Yak-130 in September, it said.
