Iran’s Armed Forces will begin conducting the second stage of major air defense exercises in the Islamic Republic’s central and southern areas, Report informs via Mehr News Agency.

The second stage of the air defense power drills is set to begin on Tuesday as part of the Armed Forces’ efforts to enhance the country’s defensive capabilities and combat readiness.

The efforts have featured the Iranian Army and Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) carrying out several military exercises over the past year.

The second stage of the drills is to enlist the forces’ various missile, artillery, radar, electronic surveillance, signal intelligence, and reconnaissance systems, which are being operated by the country’s Integrated Air Defense Network.
