The Dutch company ING Group predicts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan at 4.8% in 2025 and 4.7% in 2026, which is 0.4 and 0.2 percentage points, respectively, higher than its January forecast, Report informs, citing the company.

According to forecasts, in the first quarter of 2025, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is expected at 5.4%, in the second quarter at 5.7%, and in the third and fourth quarters at 4%. This figure is expected to be 5.6% in the last quarter of 2026.

Additionally, the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan forecasts annual inflation will be 4.6% in 2025 and 4% in 2026.

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s updated forecast from January 2025 predicts inflation will be 5.5% in 2025 and 3.8% in 2026.

Meanwhile, the United Nations expects inflation to be 3.6% in 2025 and 3.1% in 2026.
