Aziz Alakbarli, MP and Chairman of the Western Azerbaijan Community, met with Abdul Hakim, a member of the Indonesian Regional Representative Council, during the second international conference “The Right to Return: Advancing Justice for Azerbaijanis Expelled from Armenia,” organized by the Western Azerbaijan Community in Baku.
Chairman Alakbarli highlighted the injustice faced by about 300,000 Western Azerbaijanis who were expelled from present-day Armenia and are still unable to return to their ancestral lands. He emphasized that their right to return is a fundamental human right, which contradicts international law.
Abdul Hakim stated that the world community must not overlook this injustice, stressing the importance of creating opportunities for international discussions within global organizations to address the issue.
