The initiative to hold an international conference titled “By youth for youth” in Shusha, Azerbaijan is making a significant contribution to peace among nations, said Salim Al-Malik, Secretary-General of Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), Report informs.
Al-Malik expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev, the First Vice-President, and the people of Azerbaijan for this groundbreaking initiative.
He emphasized the crucial role of youth in establishing peace, stating, “Forty-two percent of ICESCO’s workforce consists of young people. We aim to increase this figure to 50 percent.”
The Secretary-General described the forum as a “beacon of hope” and expressed confidence that this initiative would continue.
