Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has commenced his visit to Kazakhstan.

According to Report, Szijjártó plans to discuss energy sector cooperation with Kazakhstan’s Energy Minister, Almasadam Satkaliyev.

Szijjártó highlighted that the Hungarian company MOL has achieved great success in Kazakhstan’s energy market.

“Currently, the company extracts oil and natural gas from five wells in one of Kazakhstan’s major deposits. Today, we are discussing further progress with Kazakh and international partners, as well as new strategic projects with Kazakh Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev,” Szijjártó shared on Facebook.

During the visit, Szijjártó has already engaged in both narrow and expanded format discussions with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Murat Nurtleu.
