Hosting the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) provides an excellent opportunity for Azerbaijan to demonstrate its achievements and effectiveness in combating climate change problems and environmental events, Vasa László, senior researcher at the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs, told Report.

According to the Hungarian expert, the importance of COP29 also lies in the fact that high-level guests and very important working groups will gather in Baku this November: “”This can help start future collaborations, including the involvement of new technologies in environmental protection activities. At the same time, new joint projects can be launched using the most modern technologies.”
