Upon the instructions of Mehriban Aliyeva, the president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Turkish Haber Global TV has prepared footage titled “A helping hand from Azerbaijan to Turkiye” about the Foundation’s humanitarian aid to the earthquake zone.

According to Report, the footage said that the humanitarian aid sent by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has already arrived in Gaziantep.

In the footage, it was specially mentioned that Azerbaijan, a brotherly country, provided the first humanitarian aid to Turkiye. It was reported that the state and people of Azerbaijan mobilized to help.

Elvin Aslanov, the representative of the Foundation, told the reporter of Haber Global TV that medical supplies prevail among the means sent:

“At the same time, humanitarian aid includes oxygen masks, filter systems, bandage items, spine boards, first aid collars, stretchers, etc., including warm clothes.”
He noted that sending aid will continue: “In Baku, the volunteers of the Regional Development Public Union of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation have started receiving the necessary equipment from the citizens of Azerbaijan. In the following days, those aids will also be delivered to Turkiye. The process will continue in stages.”
