Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson at the NATO summit in Madrid, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

The main topic of the meeting was the strategic partnership and friendly relations between Georgia and the United Kingdom.

Garibashvili thanked Johnson for unwavering support for sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia and expressed hope for further deepening the partnership.

The sides discussed close cooperation between the two countries in various fields. It was noted that the format of strategic dialogue and cooperation in several areas had raised the existing relations between the two countries to a new level.
