Algeria is attempting to humiliate France by refusing to accept an Algerian blogger who was deported on grounds of inciting hatred, French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said, Report informs via BFMTV.
“In Algeria’s case, we have reached an extremely concerning threshold. We must examine all means at our disposal regarding Algeria,” added Retailleau, who has repeatedly called for stricter deportation policies for foreign offenders.
He mentioned the possibility of reducing the number of visas issued to Algerians and cutting financial aid to Algeria. Currently, the aid amounts to €131.79 million, “which is a drop in the ocean for a country with a GDP of €240 billion.”
Earlier, Algeria refused to accept back blogger Doualemn, whom French authorities had ordered to deport.
