“Azerbaijan is a state experiencing the pain of missing persons in the war,” former foreign minister of Serbia, President of the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, Vuk Jeremic, said at the international conference on “Increasing national and global efforts to clarify the fate of missing persons” held in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, despite some achievements in investigating the fate of missing persons, the issue remains unresolved: “Unfortunately, the number of missing persons in Ukraine as a result of the war has reached 24,000, which is simply terrible.”
