Just a few days ago, British media outlets in wrote that some fans would not be able to come to Baku naming some excuses. But British citizens said they liked the Baku city very much and wanted to come back to our country again. In addition to the English, fans from different countries are also on the streets of the capital.
The British say they witnessed beautiful city, wonderful people and hospitality in Azerbaijan. They use the words “manat” and “giriş” most in Azerbaijani. Mark, young fan from London with his father has demonstrated his talent in Baku. He juggled the ball several times and attracted the attention of the surrounding people. One of the British fans said last year he celebrated his birthday in Baku. Supporter from New Zealand said he had 12 hours flight to Baku, but he did not regret it. He said the weather was cold in his country and he was glad to come to Baku.
Taking the tourist microphone from the US state of Orlando, he called on all his compatriots to come to Baku. A group of fans from German “Eintracht” team came to Baku for the final. One of them said he wanted to come to the Borussia Dortmund – Qarabag match in 2010, but the visit did not take place for some reasons.
