Finland’s retail sector faces significant disruption as thousands of workers in the commerce industry began a strike on Monday, according to the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle, which cites information from the Service Union United (PAM) and a representative of the Finnish Commerce Federation.
Report informs that the strike, which is set to continue until Thursday morning, comes after the Finnish Commerce Federation failed to reach an agreement on Sunday regarding the ongoing labor dispute. The industrial action is expected to affect approximately 70,000 workers and 3,000 stores and other retail-related establishments across the country.
