The Finnish government has declared a state of emergency due to an increase in COVID-19 infections, Report mentions, referring to Reuters.
In the country, which has already closed its borders, the decision also calls for schools’ closure and restrictions on movement between regions.
“The government believes that it is necessary to reduce contacts. Everyone now has the opportunity to influence how spring and summer return,” Prime Minister Sanna Marin said in a news conference.
