In Azerbaijan, strengthening the cybersecurity ecosystem and training qualified personnel have been identified as strategic goals, said Farid Osmanov, chairman of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development (AIDD), at the “Graduate Day” event at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, Report informs.
According to him, the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center contributes to the sustainable development of the industry by supporting the development of local cybersecurity products: “The digital development concept aims to protect personal data of the state, business, and citizens, increase digital literacy of society, and train professional personnel in the ICT sphere. Additionally, the strategy for socio-economic development of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026, as well as the Information Security and Cybersecurity Strategy for 2023-2027, include specific measures for building human resource capacity.”
