The institutionalized mechanism of joint public diplomacy between Türkiye and Azerbaijan will strengthen the fight against disinformation, according to Fahrettin Altun, Head of Communications of the Turkish Presidential Administration, Report informs.
“This mechanism will improve the quality of our work and strengthen the fight against disinformation. It is important that the world public receives accurate information,” said Altun in his address to the participants of the round table in Baku dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation in Media.
Altun recalled that the memorandum signed on December 10, 2020, became a roadmap for Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of media and communications. During this time, numerous meetings were held within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and at the bilateral level, he noted.
