
In 2024, the Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan exported $18.5 million worth of satellite telecommunication services to 50 countries, according to the January issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), Report informs.
According to the document, these figures show 2 more countries and $1.3 million (6.6%) less compared to 2023.
In 2024, revenue from Azercosmos’ service exports accounted for 73% of its total revenue.
During the reporting period, the top five countries for satellite telecommunication services exports were the United Kingdom with $6 million, Luxembourg with $3.8 million, the United Arab Emirates with $855,500, Pakistan with $683,800, and Türkiye with $654,500.
