The international community was absolutely not worried about the pollution and subsequent destruction of the flora and fauna in the zone of the Okhchuchay River from Armenian side, but now everyone is talking actively about the explosion at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station (HPP), Russian political expert Yevgeny Mikhailov told Report.
“Now we see that people have developed a clear hysteria after the explosion at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, there are big talks about who is to blame for everything. But at the same time, we remember that the Armenian side actually destroyed Okhchuchay at one time, there were also many statements that the Mingachevir reservoir will be destroyed,” Mikhailov said.

According to him, all this time the world community was silent about this.
“Here it should be emphasized that Armenia is not a subject, but an object. It is an object of influence. At the moment, Armenia takes a pro-Western position, and therefore, in this context, no one will blame it,” the political scientist believes.
