Within the framework of the 74th International Astronautical Congress held in Baku, the exhibition Rug Art Out of Space by the famous carpet designer Jan Kath was opened at the Heydar Aliyev Center, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.
The collection of 13 rugs combines space and modern art. The mysterious beauties of the galaxy are reflected in the works. Modern hand-woven rugs express the love of travel and the spirit of adventure.
The collection is presented for the first time in Azerbaijan.
German designer Jan Kath combines the classic elements of the oriental rug with a modern, minimalist design. Most of his rugs are handwoven in Nepal. Jan Kath has won a number of prestigious awards for his original designs.
