Gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Europe via the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) have exceeded 35 billion cubic meters since December 31, 2020, Report informs via SOCAR.

“From December 31, 2020 until May 1, 2024, over 35 billion cubic meters of gas have been transported to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline. Gas via TAP was delivered to Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary, Romania and Serbia,” the company said.

SOCAR emphasized that the route and design of the pipeline will make it possible to supply gas to various destinations in South-Eastern, Central and Western Europe in the future.

Azerbaijan began exporting gas to Europe on December 31, 2020. In 2023, Azerbaijani gas supplies to Europe reached 11.8 billion cubic meters.
