The European Union (EU) has officially decided to provide the Ukrainian army with weapons worth 450 million euros and related materials and equipment for 50 million euros, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti that this the official journal of the EU said on Monday.

“The purpose of this support is to contribute to strengthening the potential and resilience of the Ukrainian armed forces… To achieve this goal, the financial aid will be channeled into provision of military equipment and platforms designed to supply the Ukrainian armed forces with lethal power,” the document on the allocation of 450 million euro says.
